The Canadian Orthopaedic Nurses Association is an organization of concerned nurses and other health care professionals involved in the field of Orthopedics. Established in 1978, CONA has become a well respected voice for orthopedic care givers. Membership is available to nursing personnel and other health care givers in your hospital or community setting.

Philosophy of the Canadian Orthopaedic Nurses

The Canadian Orthopaedic Nurses Association believes that nurses who provide care to individuals with neuromuscular and skeletal disorders require a specific body of knowledge and skills to deliver the highest standard of care. We believe that this knowledge is acquired, maintained and advanced through basic knowledge, continuing education, practice and research.
